Tami Roman has given a free pass to her husband Reggie Youngblood to have a baby with another woman. She said that she offered him an “opportunity to take a br**k for a year or two and let him go find someone to have a child with.” However, her husband has declined the offer.
When Garcelle Beauvais from ‘The Real One,’ inquired her about the couple’s surrogacy trip, Roman replied, “It’s on hiatus. I feel like I’m at a point where my career starts to reward me for all the time and effort I’ve been in this business and a baby for me right now wouldn’t be the right thing to do.”
She further stated that a baby from her wouldn’t be the right thing to do as of now, however, she has urged her husband to take a break of a year or two, find a woman and have a baby. Afterward, they can be together again. This revelation was a sh**k to the show’s host and she cried, “You would really be okay with that.”
Roman seems to be quite comfortable with the idea, however, she clarified that she will help raise the baby, it is just that she doesn’t want to have one of her own at the moment. Roman also added, “I believe in co-parenting. I think it is a very precious part of a child’s life. She further stated that it’s more about her husband, and the step will allow him to carry his legacy forward as he doesn’t have any children. It’s kind of more about him and not about her.
It’s interesting to note that Basketball wives’ fame Tami Roman and Reggie Youngblood make a highly unlikely couple, probably because of the age difference of about 17 years. Before engaging with her former husband Tami was married to NBL player Kenny Anderson. They even have two children, but in 2001 they parted ways. She then met with her current husband, a former NFL player and seventeen years younger. Their relationship soon began to progress and the couple secretly married in Las Vegas in 2018.
